Yeah, but what about for small items? If i want a poster, dvd, etc., items that are easy to mail and relatively cheap, is not ebay better? Ebay is so easy to use because it offers buyer and seller protection. You can upload photos easily as a seller and this makes shopping more interactive. For large items it makes sense to have a website that limits a search to people in your area, but for small items i don't care where the seller is, I just want it cheap.

That's pretty sweet man. Thanks for doing a write-up. I came across this browsing through add-ons for firefox and wasn't quite sure what the gist of it was. I think I just may end up adding it now.

After reading through that post, especially the part about internet 3.0, my reaction is simply, “wow”. It’s amazing to me how the internet is not just some new tool or piece of technology that has emerged, but an entirely new world. It seems to me that you can do everything on the internet that you can do in the real world: shop, socialize, play games, share information and ideas, get work done, and the list goes on. I dunno, maybe i’m just stating the obvious, but sometimes i forget how revolutionary the internet is.

Wow! What an innovative idea that we could ALL use. It's true, everytime I open my computer, I spend the first 15-20 mins checking random sites that I need info from. Bringing it all together into a homepage is one awesome thing!

Hmm. I heard recently that YouTube dominates the online video market more than Google dominates search.
